Letter Shapes – Cursive Writing

3rd October 2017 - By

The Magic Shapes handwriting resources break down letters into simple shapes that can be used to practice shape making and as fine motor skill activities. Those shapes can then be combined into individual letters.

This free reference guide groups letters together that use similar shapes. You can use it to assist with lesson planning and to help children identify familiar shapes across different letters. The shapes are shown in the recommended order of teaching.

The Magic Shapes cursive edition can be ordered here.
